The girls usually come up with a meal each week to help with me figuring out what we are going to have. I am the one who usually does the meal planning, but I ask everyone for ideas and see what they want. I hope this help take away some of the stress of picking what is for dinner, how to shop for what you make, and a bonus, when the kids ask “what’s for dinner”, just point to the meal plan! It works perfect for her to do it that way. So pick a good day and time to do your weekly planning. If you don’t schedule, your to-do list is just a wish list. Truth is that unless we actually schedule something, it’s probably not going to happen. I have a friend that just writes that she is having “Baked Gnocchi” for dinner, and then writes her shopping list.
